This client remodeled their den, and we were involved throughout the process to get wiring for the TV and speakers in place. We also added other wiring for ceiling-mounted wireless access points and cleaned up two other TV mounting solutions in the home. Wiring through the crawl space was difficult, but possible. The homeowner is handy with tools and projects, and did much of the work himself, including making the custom speaker bracket for the den TV, as well as the soundbar bracket for his office TV.

A new 65″ Samsung TV was mounted in the corner near the fireplace on an extremely heavy-duty bracket so that it could be angled out from the wall and given a “floating” effect. All of the components were to be placed in the cubby of the fireplace, which was originally made to hold logs. When the client had the wall open during the remodel, we ran wires from the cubby to the TV location, as you can see in the pictures. Rear speakers are ceiling-mounted and not pictured.

A networking center was setup in an office closet, and all rooms terminate here. Part of this system is shown in the pictrus. The modem and router are in a different location. All of the access points throughout the home are hardwired to this location via Ethernet cable.

The office TV wiring was done at an earlier point and the client made the bracket to add the sound bar. That is a simple but clean install as pictured. Another small TV in a kitchen nook is wall mounted and we cleaned up the wiring as part of this job.
